Reality Bites Back Podcast
Reality Bites Back is a reality show parody reality show presented by Comedy Central featuring host Michael Ian Black and several relatively unknown standup comedians. Watch as they compete for a cash purse worth a combined total of their miserable net worth. The comedians compete in parody competitions of such shows as parodies of “American Gladiators,” “The Amazing Race,” and “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?”. If you are unfamiliar with Michael Ian Black you are not alone; however, he has been an iatrical part of VH1 classics such as “I love the 70’s”, “I Love the 80’s”, and I love the 80’s: 3D”. You know those shows that present a 25 year old music video clip and then people you have never heard of make fun of it. Well he has done a bit more than that, Michael Ian has guest stared in Comedy Centrals hit show Reno 911 as well as Stella, and Crank Yankers. Interestingly enough though Reality Bites Back seems to be Michael first full time job. In any case, the show is very funny and defiantly worth taking up that little bit of disk space left on your iPod. Michael Black is a funny guy, it seems like this is his first real job though….I mean I’ve seen him guest star in a lot of shows but Reality Bites Back may be his first real job.
